A low-stress wash routine
- Turn printed garments inside out before washing.
- Wash with similar colors using cool water and a gentle cycle when the care label allows it.
- Use a mild detergent and avoid pouring concentrated products directly onto the print.
- Avoid bleach unless the garment label specifically permits it.
Dry with less heat
Air drying is the lowest-heat option. If the care label permits machine drying, use a low setting and remove the garment promptly. Repeated high heat can stress fabric, shrink a garment, and age a printed surface faster.
Ironing and storage
Do not place a hot iron directly on printed artwork. Turn the garment inside out and use the lowest suitable setting only when the care label permits ironing. Store the piece clean and dry, away from damp conditions and prolonged direct sunlight.
