TrendTap Supply aims to make browsing, comparing, and buying products easier for more people across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.

WCAG 2.2 AA Focus

  • Large readable headings and button text.
  • High-contrast category banners and promotional overlays.
  • Descriptive image alt text for products and category visuals.
  • Keyboard-friendly navigation where supported by the Shopify theme.
  • Clear form labels, visible error messages, and simple checkout language.
  • Carousels and animations should avoid trapping focus and should be pauseable where theme controls allow it.

Image Accessibility Standards

Category and product images should describe the useful product or scene without stuffing keywords. Example: “TrendTap smart lights and gadgets arranged on a clean white background with colorful lighting.”

Trend Filters & Quick View Standards

Filters should use plain labels like Category, Price, Shipping, Product Type, Trending, and Best For. Quick-view modals should be keyboard reachable, close with Escape, preserve focus, and include product title, price, variant labels, and add-to-cart buttons with clear names.

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is not a one-time checkbox ritual performed to appease the software gods. TrendTap Supply should keep improving contrast, alt text, mobile layout, speed, and form clarity as products and visuals are added.
